IDEXX FMD Multispecies Ab Test provides a rapid, simple, sensitive and specific method for detecting antibodies against non-structural proteins (NSP) of Foot-and-Mouth-Disease Virus (FMDV) in serum and plasma samples of bovine, caprine, swine and ovine origin. This test allows differentiation between samples from infected (presence of antibodies against NSP of FMD virus) and vaccinated (no antibodies against NSP of FMD virus) animals.
